Math and Cooking at Pacific with 3rd grade students
3rd grade students at Pacific Elementary show how hard work pays off and can taste good. Students grew their very own squash in the school garden, then used the mathematical standards of equal groups to chop, and cook squash, carrots, celery, broccoli, onion, soy sauce, garlic powder and brown rice. They then served their delicious meal by creating equal servings for all to enjoy.
