5th Grade Teacher
Wow! This year marks my 19th year as a teacher in the Sacramento
City Unified School District. Through the last 18 years,
since I started teaching, I have taught 1st grade for 2 years,
4th grade for 4 years, and Kindergarten for 12 years. Yes,
this is my 13th year teaching my favorite grade level of
children. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching other grade
levels during the summers (k-12). I have also worked in the
capacity as a principal during various summers. I have
enjoyed and continue to enjoy educating children of all ages.
In my free time I like to travel and
create arts and crafts. I recently started baking and
decorating cakes for fun. You can say, I just can’t sit
still. Fun and learning is for everyone especially for
me.
